The department and its members appreciate your feedback. We are happy to share with individual officers and the entire department your satisfaction and appreciation. If our contact with you or service provided was exceptional, helpful, a resolution to your problem or situation or positive in any way and something you would like us to know about, we would appreciate hearing from you. You may stop by, call, send a note by mail or e-mail. We will be sure to pass on your complements to the appropriate officer(s).
Likewise, should you have a concern or complaint about the department or a member, this too can be forwarded to us in many ways. In many cases the situation and circumstances in which you were in contact with a deparment member may have resulted in a misunderstanding of what was said or done and an opportunity to talk with a department supervisor will allow issues and concerns to be reviewed, clarified and addressed so as to mutually resolve any issues that may remain from your contact with the department or member. However, should an action be of a more serious nature involving a violation of department rule, local ordinance, state or federal law or standards of unacceptable conduct, a form is available at the department and Village and Town Hall for you to complete and return.
Should you have a suggestion or request for specific department action such as extra patrol for speed or other enforcement effort please let us know and we will do what we can to accommodate your request giving consideration to our overall duties, responsibilities and limitations. We strive to meet the expectations of the citizens of the community and fulfill the many requests we receive.
