RECORDS REQUESTS
Our business office is open weekdays from 8am to 4pm. Copies of reports can be obtained from this office during these hours. Some reports may not be available right away after the incident is reported as the case is still under investigation, the officer is preparing the report or for any number of other reasons. Please wait a few days after you make your report to us to request a copy of the report. To facilitate processing please include the case number (if you know it) with your request. If you do not know the case number, provide the date, approximate time, location and type of incident in your request.
Requests for reports can be made by mail, phone (608-839-4652), fax (608-839-4588) or in person. A per-page copying fee will be charged for all reports along with applicable postage for those requests filled by mail.
The department does not maintain criminal arrest or driving records, These can be obtained from:
